A Night of Stars at the Cannes Film Festival
The 76th edition of the Cannes Film Festival is living up to its promises. Since the beginning of this unmissable event, numerous stars have been dazzling on the red carpet of the Palais des Festivals in Cannes. This Tuesday, May 23rd 2023, it was Wes Anderson’s turn to be honored for the screening of his movie Asteroid City, in competition for the Palme d’Or.
Adrien Brody and Tom Hanks Shine
Adrien Brody, who is one of the many stars in the cast, was present. And he was not alone. This red carpet was highly anticipated given the five-star cast of Asteroid City. Especially since many celebrities have made the trip for the occasion. Adrien Brody set the photographers’ flashes alight tonight, to the great delight of the public. For the occasion, the 50-year-old actor was very elegant in a black suit, accessorized with a bow tie. Just like Tom Hanks who had the same idea.
A Red Carpet of Stars
The first indeed posed with his companion Georgina Chapman. The ex-wife of Harvey Weinstein and he posed together. She bet on a beautiful black bustier dress and sparkling. Many celebrities have rushed to the red carpet to discover Asteroid City. Ana Girardot was sublime in a gray dress, accessorized with a long black transparent veil. Frédérique Bel was noticed in a long flowing yellow dress and an original headband. Michèle Laroque and her daughter Oriane, Daphné Bürki, Julia Garner, Brie Larson, Fan BingBing and Jason Schwartzman also had the happiness to be present. Just like the models Coco Rocha, Frida Aasen, Mary Leest, Meredith Mickelson, Olivia Culpo, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Tina Kunakey, Jasmine Tookes, Marianne Fonseca, Jon Kortajarena, Georgia Fowler, Cindy Mello. The director Jim Jarmusch, the creator Kimberly Garner, the influencer Leonie Hanne, the singer Samantha Cotta (from the group Hyphen Hyphen); Alexandre Desplat, Lady Victoria Hervey and the dietician Maye Musk posed. Not to mention the Jury La Cinef and Shorts (Karidja Touré, Shlomi Elkabetz, Ildikó Enyedi, Ana Lily Amirpour, Charlotte Le Bon) and the Camera d’Or jury (Anaïs Demoustier Nicolas Marcadé, Nathalie Durand, Raphaël Personnaz, Anaïs Demoustier, Mikael Buch, Sophie Frilley).
