Alexandre Pasteur’s Career
Since 2017, viewers of France Télévisions have come to know and love Alexandre Pasteur. After having spent much of his career at Eurosport, the 52-year-old journalist from Pontarlier (Doubs) arrived on the public service and quickly became the voice of the Tour de France. Surrounded by Laurent Jalabert and Marion Rousse, he brings to life the world’s most beautiful cycling race for three weeks each year.
Alexandre Pasteur’s Family Life
If the journalist is very talkative on the air, he is much more discreet about his private life. Married, Alexandre Pasteur is also the father of a little girl, born during the 2010 Olympic Games. “As soon as I landed in Vancouver, early February 2010, I had a message from my wife. She had just arrived at the maternity ward because our little girl had decided to come out five weeks early. She told me to stay to do my job. I returned to France, the little one already had three weeks… I spent these Games completely out of it,” he said in the same interview. If he is very protective of his private life, Alexandre Pasteur does not hesitate to evoke his colleague Marion Rousse on the air.

On July 19th, in the middle of the Tour de France, he made a little joke about her love story with Julian Alaphilippe. Teasing, the journalist managed to make the beautiful blonde laugh and one can feel a great complicity between them.
