Britney Spears’ Romantic Relationships
Understanding Britney Spears by looking at her romantic relationships? It’s possible indeed, because the men she has fallen in love with – three of whom she later married – tell a lot about her emotional state. To get an idea of how turbulent the various relationships have been, just think of her first husband, Jason Allen Alexander, married in Las Vegas for 55 hours. The wedding with Jason was annulled (in 2004) but he, her childhood friend who still seeks his fifteen minutes of fame with interviews about her, showed up on the day of the popstar’s third wedding to prevent her. He ended up in handcuffs and was also convicted. It was June 9, 2022 and in front of a sixty guests, Britney said yes to Sam Asghari, a personal trainer/dancer she met in 2016 on the set of one of her videos. She was expecting a child from him, but had a spontaneous abortion.
Instability in Her Relationships
Now knives are raining down and there is already talk of divorce – 14 months after that day – for alleged infidelities and for the singer’s mental state. The little balance already emerges from the reels on Instagram where she dances semi-naked, takes provocative poses and writes disconnected phrases. After cutting ties with her family of origin after the end of her father’s conservatorship – and therefore released from guardianship – she no longer has reference points. Her second husband, rapper Kevin Federline (married in September 2004), can be seen well from letting him attend their two children, Sean and Jayden. We still talk about instability and it is light years away from the carefree times of the Mickey Mouse club with Justin Timberlake, with whom she had a story between 1999 and 2002. It seems to have happened after closing the two-year lovestory with Reg Jones and an interlude with singer Robbie Carrico right after.
Her Many Flings
Many flings have been attributed to her – from Colin Farrell to Jared Leto passing through Mario Lopez – but nothing confirmed. She has also dated various colleagues, including Wade Robson (in 2001 for about eight months), Fred Durst, between 2002 and 2003 and Howie Day (in 2007). Immediately afterwards she had a head for businessman John Sundahl and photographer Adnan Ghalib. She became engaged to agent Jason Trawick (between 2011 and 2013), then made her way into the heart of American David Lucado for very little. Between 2014 and 2015 she went out with producer Charlie Ebersol and businessman Harry Morton (2015-2016). In between there were crises, court battles, marriages and various kinds of headshots. It is intuited that, in the period of maximum success, after Justin Timberlake she continued to go out mainly with other musicians because the tours did not allow her much space for her personal life.
