Marion Cotillard was looking particularly stylish for her first day at the Cannes Festival. On Sunday, May 21, 2023, she arrived on the Croisette to present her new movie Little Girl in Blue, which is based on the true story of its director Mona Achache. The film will be screened at a Special Session later in the day and gives Marion Cotillard the chance to demonstrate her talent and return to Cannes, where she almost always has a movie to show.
At the traditional photocall, Marion Cotillard first posed with her director and then alone, revealing her long legs. She had chosen a 100% Chanel outfit, including a faded denim mini-short, white boots and a pale pink vest. This was a very different look to the one she had chosen back in 2019, when she wore a black dress and was accompanied by her friends Jean Dujardin and Gilles Lellouche. Last year, she opted for a very sexy black mini-short for the movie Frère et Soeur by Arnaud Despleschin, in which she starred alongside another Cannes regular, Melvil Poupaud.
The opportunity to make a return to the Cannes Festival with her long-time partner Guillaume Canet might be too good to pass up. Guillaume is in Cannes too, with his movie Acide, which will be presented tonight, just after Little Girl in Blue. Marion and Guillaume have not officially walked the red carpet together in Cannes since 2013, when they presented Blood Ties. Whether they decide to take the opportunity to do so tonight or not, it is sure to be a memorable Cannes evening.
