Two French stars, a stunning singer in her black garment, a seductive actress in white… but the same air of sophistication! This Friday, after the films were shown at the Palais des Festivals, many celebrities on the Croisette experienced the other part of the Cannes Film Festival, its renowned evenings. As usual, celebrities hastened to one of the most famous events, the Chopard party. Hosted by the luxury jewellery designer, it notably welcomed actress Clotilde Courau. She had been in Cannes for a few days, and was stunning in her original Valentino white dress, with which she also discreetly attended the screening of Jonathan Glazer’s movie in competition the night before. Radiating, the mother of the beautiful Vittoria and the lovely Luisa was all in transparency, since her dress revealed a flesh-coloured body. She was able to traverse the red carpet with many of her colleagues, including Karidja Touré, also encased in a white dress with a plunging neckline, or Emilie Dequenne, glowing on the arm of her husband. But the one who stood out the most was Carla Bruni: she had come alone to the Croisette (where she crossed an ex!), the former First Lady had changed her spectacular purple dress she was wearing for the steps for a much more classic black dress that highlighted her former model figure. A small touch of fantasy, the top of the bustier dress was… adorned with feathers! Present for this grand evening, Natalie Portman, godmother of the event, was also dazzling as she had been on the red carpet, in her magnificent dress. It must be said that the actress, who had spent a few months in Paris, had something in common with Carla Bruni: both were wearing Chopard jewellery for this splendid evening and shone with a thousand lights! Five members of the jury were also present: Ruben Östlund, the president, had come with French director Julia Ducournau, actor Denis Ménochet and the two Americans Paul Dano and Brie Larson, sublime in an ultra-transparent dress that almost left her breasts bare. Finally, Cédric Klapisch and his wife Lola Doillon had made the trip both for a rare joint outing, and they had encountered Juliette Armanet, for the first time on the Croisette as an actress. The Cannes Film Festival has once again seen many celebrities come together to enjoy a glamorous evening.
