Dani Alves Interview

Since he entered prison on January 20, a lot of information has been published related to the alleged sexual assault perpetrated by the footballer in a nightclub in Barcelona, but so far, he had not spoken in person about what happened. Alves has just granted an interview to journalist Mayka Navarro, collaborator of the newspaper “La Vanguardia” and of “El programa de Ana Rosa”. “I am not a rapist. There has not been a single night that I have not slept peacefully. Not one night. I have a clear conscience,” assured Dani Alves, who continues to defend that the sexual relationship was consensual.

Relationship with Wife

The serious accusation that weighs on the footballer has dynamited the relationship with his wife, Joana. The Brazilian has been convinced that the girl who accused him has been badly advised. The ex-Barcelona player has admitted that, in the hours after the incident, he offered different versions because he wanted to hide from his wife, Joana Sanz, what had happened. “The only person I owe an apology to is my wife,” he said.
