Francesca Barra told Caterina Balivo the pain that is linked to the loss of her son, who was waiting by her husband, Claudio Santamaria. The journalist had claimed to be expecting a child in tv. He had surprisingly announced during an episode of Live – is Not the D’urso. A few weeks later, was on the 26th of may, via Instagram had announced the abortion. In an interview during the latest episode of Come to me, the journalist confessed to have never agreed to have lost the baby that was expected:

Even today I can not accept that my belly is empty. Think on the 31st of October in Mexico, we celebrate the children ever born. I explained to my children that I have had three children, but four, then one is not born. For the first time, I felt lost, fragile, I have always been a lioness, a warrior, are collapsed, and I was not raised completely, and maybe you’re right when you say that you have to live with the fact that you are not then a heroine.

Abortion just before Venice 2019

The loss of her son, who was waiting devastated, Francesca, to the point of pushing her to want not to appear in public: “It coincided shortly after with the Festival of Cinema in Venice and I one night I woke up and I said, ‘I Cannot come because I feel a grief inside of me, I can’t do the red carpet with the photographers’ and then I felt burdened and tired.” To convince her to participate in the Festival was the husband Claudio:

Claudio has said to me ‘give me a week, do gymnastics, do a diet, because I need you, if not then make it, I will understand’, and this has spurred, I’m deflated but I did not put any panciera, I did the red carpet with the bacon because it could be a message for many women, we are true, we are weak but we are strong in the stand up again.

The dedication of Claudio Santamaria

Shortly after the airing of the interview, Santamaria has posted a photo of his wife on Instagram, and accompanied it with a caption that celebrates the strength: “I consider You for every thing you do. You are strong, beautiful, deep, sincere, intelligent, passionate. As well as the woman the most sympathetic I’ve ever known. Follow you today by Catherine Balivo to Come to me has touched me, because I know how hard it is for you to talk about certain things. Thanks. Claudio, your proud husband.”
