GĂ©raldine Danon on the Red Carpet

The crowd gathered at the Cannes International Film Festival was delighted to see Géraldine Danon on the legendary red carpet on May 19th. She was accompanied by several members of the cast of her first feature film, which tells the story of Florence Arthaud, including Charles Berling, Marilyne Canto, Pierre Deladonchamps, Stéphane Caillard, Samuel Jouy, Alexis Michalik and Victor Hadida. The experience was idyllic for Géraldine Danon, who seems to be an expert in the art of making films, but also in presenting and defending the colors of her projects.

A Small Mistake on the Red Carpet

In an interview with the website, the wife of Philippe Poupon admitted to making a small mistake on the red carpet – but accidents happen! “I stumbled on a train and fell,” she said with a laugh, full of memories and a smile on her lips. “It was a long time ago, about ten years I would say. Fifteen years even. I got up. I’m used to getting up.”

Flo, the Biopic

It was important for GĂ©raldine Danon to come and present her film, Flo, at the Cannes International Film Festival. The biopic will be released in France on November 29th, 2023. To play Florence Arthaud, the director chose StĂ©phane Caillard, who bears an uncanny resemblance to the one she portrays on the big screen. This cinematic experience, it must be said, seems to have been intense. “The craziest moment I’ve experienced on a shoot was on Flo,” GĂ©raldine Danon said, who has shot in an incredible number of films. “A night scene where we were going from one boat to another, with a reduced but quite substantial team, and cameras in all directions …” To discover or rediscover the story of Florence Arthaud, go to the cinema on November 29th.
