Jeanne Balibar’s Love Life
Complete artist Jeanne Balibar is back in the spotlight with an album, D’ici là tout l’été, co-produced by Arnaud Rebotini and Cléa Vincent, revealing “a sense of tragedy doubled with mischievous fantasy” according to the cover of the work. At 55, she still wants to be as frank and fanciful as her interview with the magazine Voici proves, where she talks about her love relationships in particular. Jeanne Balibar’s love life includes well-known names. The beloved actress of director Arnaud Desplechin was the companion of actor and director Mathieu Amalric from 1996 until their separation in 2003. They had two sons together, Antoine and Pierre – the latter collaborated on her music album Paramour.
Continuing to Work with Exes
The one who embodied the great Barbara then had a relationship with writer Pierre Alféri – who participates in the writing of her music album Paramour – then with musician Philippe Katerine, they even signed the title J’aime tes fesses together. Jeanne’s men write their own love story now: Philippe Katerine, who made Helena Noguerra swoon for a time, is in a relationship with Julie Depardieu and has had two children with her, Billy and Alfred. Mathieu Amalric was in a relationship with the director Stéphanie Cléau and had a child together. Since 2015, the actor has been the companion of the soprano and conductor Barbara Hannigan, passionate about her work which he has analyzed in several documentaries.
