Maylone’s Health Worsens Despite Improvement
Although it was thought that Maylone’s health was improving, he continues to cause a lot of concern. It must be said that at only 3 and a half years old, he has already experienced a lot of complicated things. At birth, he had a close brush with death twice due to esophageal atresia. After his first year of life, doctors were confident that Maylone would get better, but at the beginning of 2022, he was diagnosed with stenosis.
Jessica Thivenin Expresses Distress
The little one had to be operated on again for an esophageal dilation. He also has exercises to do daily and medication to take. But this is not enough for him to get better and in recent days, Maylone has been in great pain and coughing or vomiting. A situation that naturally worries Jessica Thivenin. On Snapchat this Tuesday morning, the 31-year-old influencer was unable to hold back her tears to express her distress. “Today was a horrible night. We are in a difficult period. He coughed all night, had acid reflux all night, without stopping. It’s very hard. It breaks my heart to see him like this. It’s been three days that he’s been crying, so I’m cracking, I have a hard time holding back,” she explained from her bed, while Maylone was coughing in the background and being taken care of by his dad Thibault.
Difficult Period for Maylone and Family
Jessica Thivenin must now, yet again, review her son’s diet. “We’re going to try to stop dairy products and all charcuterie, but I’m out of ideas, I don’t know what to cook for dinner or what to give him to eat. It’s horrible to have to restrict a 3 and a half year old child…” she lamented. Of course, Maylone is the first one to be unable to bear his condition and does not want to take his treatment anymore. “He came to see us this morning, he said he wanted to vomit all the time, that it was burning him… It’s not easy, he’s fed up with doing his exercises, he doesn’t want to anymore, we have to force him,” Jessica Thivenin reported. The light at the end of the tunnel is unfortunately still far away as she later said: “We have to wait another 7 years before it gets better for Maylone. It’s long…“. Currently on vacation in the south of France, the family will arrange several appointments with specialists.
