Meghan Markle and Harry : why she did not have the right to participate in the meeting of crisis ?

Monday 13 January, the queen of England and the princes Harry, William and Charles are gathered for a crisis meeting, regarding the desire of the couple in Sussex away from the royal family. An event which was not invited Meghan Markle.

Meghan Markle and prince Harry have finally obtained gain of cause. And yet, all evidence pointed to the contrary. A week ago, the couple Sussex, freshly returned from the Canada, announced on Instagram that they wish to no longer be part of the senior members of the british royal family. If Meghan Markle and Harry had, however, also stated to continue to support the queen Elizabeth II, they had indicated their desire to leave to live in Canada for half the year, and become financially independent. Hard to believe that the queen would accept such a proposal.

Yet, on Monday, 13 January, she received the princes Harry, William and Charles to his home in Sandringham, and has finally agreed to let his grandson and his daughter-in-law from. A historic decision was made public on the official Twitter account of the queen soon after, through a press release. “Even though we would have preferred that they remain full-time members of the royal family, we respect and understand their desire to live a life that is as independent as a family, while remaining valued members of my family”, said the wife of prince Philip, to the effect that a transition period will be put in place.

Meghan Markle, persona non grata ?

However, there was a large absent during this crisis meeting : Meghan Markle ! Back home in Canada for a few days, the mother of Archie Mountbatten-Windsor did not have the right to participate in the talks, or by telephone, or by videoconference. The reason, according to the Mirror ? “The officials of the palace would be worried about who would have been able to listen to,” according to the media british. Prince Harry has, therefore, been only to advocate their cause. Always according to the newspaper, it would have been at Sandringham for a personal interview in head-to-head with the queen two hours prior to the arrival of his father and his brother. He was able to confide to you heart to heart with his grandmother, and seems to have found the right words to get the blessing of Elizabeth II.
