Benjamin Biolay is a die-hard fan of Formula 1. It has therefore been especially touched when the young driver Jules Bianchi died in 2014. In this Wednesday, June 24, the artist has once again paid tribute to this great sportsman French, by posting a tribute, very moving.

A few days ago, the singer Benjamin Biolay would pull out his 9th album baptized Great Price. A name that was not chosen randomly : in fact, the artist wished to pay tribute to Jules Bianchi. Remember, it is the young French hope of the F1, plunged into a coma following a terrible accident on the circuit of Suzuka, in Japan. The native of Nice, died on July 17, 2015 at the age of 26 years. A disappearance which had moved the whole of France and many celebrities who had paid tribute. For Benjamin Biolay, this death was a tear. Last June 14, he spoke about his album in an interview for the magazine Version Fémina : “It is my sorrow that I express. And when I sing, in this title : ‘I was a little Frenchman who dreams his life’, I am talking to him, but the little French dream his life, it’s still me, ” he explains.
A moving tribute
And on Wednesday 24 June, the artist has once again had a thought very special for this young man who died far too early. In fact, he has posted a photo of his portrait on his account of Instagram with a message upsetting writing in the caption : “Jules Bianchi, the angel struck. The album Grand Prix is dedicated to him. A thousand thoughts to his family and his loved ones.” A attention that has excited many fans of the singer : “Our hope with the French !”, “I will be thinking of him while listening to the album as I thought of him in the last moments of his life in a hope, alas, in vain”, or even “It’s a beautiful tribute to my little brother is very touching,” one can read in the comment. This album is a beautiful tribute to this great sportsman.
