Stella Belmondo lost her father, Jean-Paul Belmondo, on September 6, 2021. The actor was taken in mid-flight when he was 88 years old and his youngest was only 18. Close to her father, she had remained dignified during all the celebrations and tributes paid to her famous father. She had, however, not found the strength to take the floor, unlike Victor, an actor by profession, who had uttered a few words during the national tribute paid to Bebel on September 9, 2021 in the Cour d’Honneur of the Hôtel des Invalides. “We wanted to say a few words here at the Invalides because we know how touched and proud he was to receive the honors of the State and France in general,” he explained. “Where he is, I’m sure and certain he’s smiling, as always, and he is fully happy.”
