A Day of Love
Thursday June 15th 2023 was a day of love. Océane Colom, better known by her stage name Suzane – this pseudonym comes from one of her two grandmothers – married her dear one. In a relationship for 12 years with Anouk, she said “yes” in a white outfit, as tradition dictates, in front of forty guests, in her hometown of Avignon. It was the mayor, Cécile Helle, who celebrated the nuptials. “Suzane asked me, I said yes right away, it touched me, and I’m really happy,” she said in the pages of the La Provence newspaper. She is very attached to her city, always speaking of it with her heart. The crowd gathered to celebrate this beautiful romance threw flower petals, in abundance, in the Place de l’Horloge.
The Meeting
It was not far from there that the lovers had confessed their feelings, more than a decade ago. Suzane and Anouk had indeed met when they were students at the Pasteur Lycée in Avignon. It was on rue Vernet that they declared their flame. The marriage proposal took place in Costa Rica. Anouk is a former nurse turned sports coach. She is also the muse of the singer, since she inspired some titles, including Anouchka and Vista sur mare.
The Wedding Guests
Among the guests, Suzane had obviously invited her three brothers and sisters, Amandine, Esteban and Thomas. Fans will surely recognize the latter since he went on stage with the singer, five days before the wedding, to perform, in duo, A la casa. Present in her native land, Suzane had indeed taken the opportunity to give a concert in Avignon, on the Île de la Barthelasse, on June 10th 2023 in front of a crowd of 3000 people. Undoubtedly, it’s a great time for the artist.
