The 76th Cannes Film Festival

The 76th edition of the Cannes Film Festival was launched on May 16th. Several films in competition for the Palme d’Or, as well as some out of competition films, have been screened each day, with the red carpet causing a sensation. Thomas Sotto stayed in Paris to present the show as usual, but he still had the opportunity to talk to his columnist Charlotte Lipinska for a few minutes, who was indeed on the Croisette.

Thomas Sotto’s Unexpected Request

Thomas Sotto wanted to play the comedy and asked Charlotte Lipinska to drop her mic and jump into the water to see if he had a role for her. Somewhat taken aback by this unexpected request, Charlotte Lipinska was not discouraged. “Well, that’s nasty but Thomas, don’t challenge me like that!” She replied. After which, she dropped her mic on the beach to take up the challenge of going into the water fully dressed.

Thomas Sotto and Johanna Ghiglia’s Reaction

Thomas Sotto and his colleague of the day Johanna Ghiglia, who probably did not believe at first that she was capable, then burst into laughter in the studio. “Thank you and goodbye to the Télématin microphone. There is no more sound, no more image,” the journalist joked when he saw Charlotte Lipinska come out of the water, laughing but unable to react. In any case, this was a great way to start the day!
