Chrissy Teigen & John Legend’s Love Story
On September 14th 2013, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend got married on Lake Como. Ten years ago. During these days, the couple chose to return to the same place, which has become one of the symbols of their love story, where they often come on vacation, to renew their promises of love, with a mega party attended by close friends and relatives of the couple. “The first time John and I went to Lake Como we had just met and it was really magical,” Chrissy Teigen had told. “We fell in love there because it’s such a beautiful place and the moment was right to take our relationship to the next step.”
Their first meeting was on the set of Legend’s music video in 2006. Five years later, the engagement and then the wedding in 2013. A love that was important from the start that led the couple to become parents of Luna Simone in 2016, Miles in 2018 and in 2023 of Esti Maxine and Wren, born last June thanks to surrogacy.
Chrissy Teigen’s Journey With Motherhood
The announcement was made on social media by Teigen herself, remembering with emotion the child lost at 20 weeks of gestation. “After losing him, I didn’t think I would be able to handle another pregnancy. To be honest, I’ve repressed most of my mental state at that time, but a clear memory is that I was surrounded by people who wanted to make sure I wouldn’t go through that pain and loss again.” The theme of pregnancy and motherhood has always been dear to the model, who after the abortion of the third, much-awaited baby, was informed by doctors that she would no longer be able to have any pregnancy. As she told People, “this made me even more determined to help others achieve the dream of a family. I know I’ve already been very lucky and that, nowadays, there are many ways to have a child, from surrogacy to adoption.”
