Prince Albert’s Family Reunion

As rumors continue to swirl around the ever-controversial relationship between Prince Albert and his wife, Charlène of Monaco, a photo is more surprising than ever: the prince’s family reunion with his ex, Nicole Coste, to celebrate his son Alexander’s 20th birthday. Just a few days ago, the young business economics student, who would like to steer his future towards fashion, gave an interview to the magazine Point de Vue in which he confessed his discomfort at being identified as the “illegitimate” son of the Monegasque sovereign and threatened to sue anyone who refers to him with this label, because Alexandre Grimaldi is the fruit of the relationship between Albert II and the Togolese hostess Nicole Coste, whom the prince met on a flight from Nice to Paris at the end of the 90s, when Charlène was not yet part of his life. Since the two were not married, Alexander was excluded from the Monegasque succession line, although Prince Albert recognized him as his son and Princess StĂ©phanie was his godmother at his baptism.

Alexander’s Relationship with his Siblings

His parents have now reunited to accompany him on such a special day. The family reunion was also attended by Jazmin Grace Grimaldi, the eldest of Prince Albert’s four children, born from the prince’s brief relationship with American Tamara Rotolo during a holiday in the south of France. The prince’s elder children have a great relationship, as they have told themselves: “She is my elder sister and I love her as much as I love my two elder brothers from my mother’s side,” explained Alexander in an interview with Point de Vue. A few months ago, Coste posted an Instagram photo of a similar meeting: her affectionate reunion in New York with Alexander and Albert of Monaco. It was the first time they were seen in a photo together – Jazmin Grace was also there – while spending time together. The snapshot disappeared shortly after from the social network. This time it is not so.
