A Special Birthday Gift for Little Prince Archie
Archie, the little prince, received a surprise gift for his fourth birthday: a mini-sized bicycle, delivered directly to his home by the owner of a bicycle shop in Montecito, California. The first-born son of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry turned four on May 6th, coinciding with the coronation date of King Charles. The little one, as known, stayed at home with mother Meghan Markle and little sister Lilibet, while Harry flew to London to attend the Royal Family ceremony. Meghan Markle and Harry today live with their children Archie and Lillibet in California. But let’s get back to the surprise gift for little Archie.
A Thoughtful Gift to Celebrate Archie’s Birthday
The owners of the Mad Dogs & Englishmen Bike Shop, Jennifer and Martin Blevins (she American and he English), wanted to make the child a special birthday present. As Jennifer Blevins told Hello magazine, “The bike chosen for Archie is from the California brand Specialized and the model is Rip Rock Coaster 16. It’s sold for 249.99 dollars and it’s a great little bike, with easily removable rear wheels. It’s an ideal bike for children from 4 to 6 years old“. The couple of shopkeepers hope that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be able to use the bike when the time comes for Archie’s little sister, Lilibet, who is now 2 years old. Martin Blevins did not limit himself to delivering the bicycle to Archie. Taking advantage of the occasion, he decided to also bring balloons for the child’s birthday, flowers for Meghan and a hand-written greeting card. Whether it’s a publicity stunt or a disinterested thought, the gesture remains full of kindness and care.
A Thank You Note from Meghan and Harry
Some time later, Meghan and Harry sent a thank-you letter to the shopkeepers, letting them know how much they appreciated the bike for Archie. In disbelief and joy, Jennifer and Martin Blevins posted a photo of the letter on the Instagram page of their shop.
