The Emergency Surgery

It was a scary weekend for Kourtney Kardashian and husband Travis Barker. The 44-year-old entrepreneur and model was rushed to the hospital to save the baby the couple is expecting. Fortunately, the doctors were able to manage the complication through an emergency surgery. And so the future parents, after breathing a sigh of relief, posted their public thanks to those who assisted them.

Travis Barker’s Tour Postponed

At the time of his wife’s hospitalization, the 47-year-old drummer of Blink-182 was on tour in Europe: so this Friday the group announced that the European concert dates would be postponed. “Due to an urgent family matter,” the band had made known, “Travis had to return home to the United States. The shows in Glasgow, Belfast, and Dublin have been rescheduled”. Until now, however, the reason for the emergency had not been clarified, which now emerges in all its drama.

Grateful to God

The situation was so serious that, now that everything is resolved, Travis Barker thanked God with a post on X. “God is great,” he wrote, explaining that he “flew home for a dangerous emergency fetal surgery and I am so grateful that it all went well. I want to thank everyone for their support. The tour will resume on Friday”. And a thank you to God also came from his wife: “Praise be to God,” Kourtney wrote in her post, saying that “leaving the hospital with our baby safe in my belly was the true blessing”. The entrepreneur and model then explained that “having had three really easy pregnancies in the past, I was not prepared for the fear of being rushed into an emergency fetal surgery. I think anyone who has never experienced something like this can’t even begin to understand that feeling of fear. I have a completely new understanding and respect for mothers who have had to fight for their babies during pregnancy”.
