The Bel Paese: A Gift from the Gods
Italy is a gift from the Gods. To love, to respect, to honor. So, in mid-July, Russell Crowe expressed on social media all his affection for the Bel Paese, to which he is particularly attached as his most important role in the film Gladiator is closely linked to Rome: the New Zealand actor, this summer, also passed through there, from the capital, during his trip along the boot that took him to Campania, Sicily, Venice and Florence, to visit the Uffizi.
Fashion and Art: Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire in Florence
A few days earlier, Leonardo DiCaprio had also passed through the Tuscan capital, spotted together with his friend and colleague Tobey Maguire: a bit of fashion and a bit of art, then moving to Versilia for a dinner by the sea. DiCaprio did not miss a swim in Sardinia and another in Capri, two of the most popular destinations for foreign VIPs as soon as the hot season begins. Campania, and in particular the coast, has registered a real boom of stars in recent weeks.
From Robert De Niro to Harry Styles: Stars in the Italian Summer
Among all of them, the legendary Robert De Niro, spotted in the streets of Naples: after a visit to the Treasure of San Gennaro and the masters of the Nativity scene in San Gregorio Armeno, the interpreter of Raging Bull was filmed during a lunch at the famous Mimì alla Ferrovia restaurant, where he tasted some Neapolitan specialties and finally kissed the Diego Maradona statue. Then Keanu Reeves also landed at Capodichino, currently in Capri with friends, not far from Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates. The number one of Amazon descended from his maxi sailboat for a fish lunch in a famous inn in Procida, while the founder of Microsoft seems to be in a luxury hotel in Amalfi. From the mountains of Alta Badia, which hosted the director Oliver Stone, to the Apulian beaches, where Kim Kardashian stopped for the Dolce&Gabbana parade, to Lake Bolsena, where Harry Styles – who bought a house in the nearby Civita di Bagnoregio – made the eyes of the people present. All wonderful places: Russell Crowe teaches.
