James Middleton Announces Baby News
The brother of the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, will soon become a father: his wife Alizée Thevenet, the French financial analyst with whom he got married in 2021, is expecting their first child. And it was the future father himself who shared the happy news on social media. “We couldn’t be more excited,” James wrote on Instagram, posting pictures of the future mother with her already obvious baby bump.
Growing Family
For Kate Middleton, this is the fourth grandchild. The princess, in fact, is already aunt of the three children of her sister Pippa: Arthur, 4 years old, Grace, 2 and the little Rose, 1 year old. The tribe of grandchildren for grandparents Carole and Michael Middleton is therefore expanding: for them, in fact, this is the seventh grandchild. And, it can be assumed, that the news of the new family member will also cheer up the little ones George, Charlotte and Louis.
Finding Happiness
Fatherhood marks for James Middleton a further step towards happiness, leaving behind a past made difficult by depression. A year ago, talking about the illness, he explained that to get out of the tunnel he learned to focus on the present. “I set myself a new mantra that was inspired by my dogs … Don’t spend every moment thinking about what’s to come, or days gone by. The past is imperfect, so will be the future,” he said. So it’s better to think about the present, taking “a walk with the dogs and hand in hand with my wife“. And soon a baby will join them.
