Sophie Thalmann: A Passion for Horse Riding
It was on December 13, 1997, in Deauville, that Sophie Thalmann was elected Miss France 1998. Since then, the former beauty queen has managed to become a bit more discreet, only choosing for herself what she wants to reveal on social networks. This is mainly due to her passion for horse riding and her family.
A Family of Champions
In addition to having a mother who has always been passionate about horses, Sophie Thalmann’s children have a father who is a famous Belgian jockey! Christophe Soumillon has won many races as well as numerous prizes and has rubbed shoulders with the greatest in the equestrian world. His name is so renowned that he is often invited to the greatest equestrian events. In June 2022, he even met Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton on the occasion of his presence at the Royal Ascot (great British race) at the Ascot racecourse in Berkshire.
Young Champions in the Making
On Monday, May 29th, 2023, the youngest of Sophie Thalmann’s children, Robin, even ran a race against all his friends at the Saint-Cloud racecourse. Flashy outfits, bombs on the head and whips in hand, the young boys amazed the former beauty queen. “They blew me away! Real little seeds of champions … and above all a great bunch of friends,” she commented on a real post at the end of the day. We can see the little Robin and his friends preparing for the race and then getting on their horse to start. An impressive scene carried by young children under ten years old!
