Harry and Meghan’s Career Aspirations
After shelving their ambitions as podcasters, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are working on producing a film for Netflix, part of a multi-million dollar deal with the streaming giant. The couple has secured the rights to Carley Fortune’s novel Meet Me At The Lake, published by Penguin. An insider told Page Six that Meghan has no intention of returning to acting or directing a film – her plans are going in a completely different direction. Better to produce, in other words, and at dizzying figures. Netflix bought the rights to the book, which is perfect for the couple due to a story that has some features in common with their own.
Meghan’s Aspirations For The Future
Those close to the couple told Page Six that they love love stories and romantic comedies, and this production would be just a small taste of what the couple has in mind for the near future. Meghan has turned to talent agency WME of Ari Emanuel, and according to those who know her well, she aspires to become a combination of famous women – a bit of Reese Witherspoon, a bit of Gwyneth Paltrow, a bit of Princess Kate, a bit of Gloria Steinem – a kind of wonder woman, in short. Harry, too, is carrying out a series of projects on his own, in which his wife is not directly involved.
The Couple’s Relationship Status
No trace of the crisis of which it has long been rumored in recent weeks: together, Harry and Meghan are stronger than ever, and seem to have every intention of proving it. The first project Harry is carrying out on his own is a documentary entitled Heart of Invictus, which in a few weeks will take him to Africa to shoot some scenes.
