Jacob Elordi’s Turn on the Red Carpet

Banners, screams and camped out fans on the red carpet. Last year it was Harry Styles and Timothée Chalamet who were the most awaited stars (by the very young) of the Venice Festival, and this year it was Jacob Elordi’s turn, the Australian actor launched by Euphoria. One meter and ninety-six in height, former rugby player, Elordi took over the baton from Austin Butler. At the Lido he arrived as co-star of Priscilla, Sofia Coppola’s biopic that tells the tormented story between Elvis and Priscilla with her eyes, fourteen years old for most of the film.

SAG-AFTRA Union Agreement

The actor paraded along with the rest of the cast, thanks to an agreement between the SAG-AFTRA union and independent productions that have already adapted their standards to the workers’ requests. The red carpet was thus saved.

Jacob Enjoying His Debut

The more the fans screamed his name, the more Jacob signed autographs and made himself available for a selfie. After all, he said, he always feels very good in the middle of his audience. Jacob quickly understood the rules of the game and now he is having fun at his debut in Venice.
